The Capitals announced on Monday afternoon that the NHL has made time changes to three regular season games: October 13 at Pittsburgh, November 16 vs. Pittsburgh, and March 6 vs. Dallas.
The October 13 game is the Caps’ season opener and will be on national TV. The Penguins are raising their Stanley Cup banner that night.

ARLINGTON, Va. – The start times for three 2016-17 Washington Capitals’ games have changed from the original times released by the National Hockey League.
The start time for the Capitals’ game at Pittsburgh on Oct. 13 has been changed from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m., the game against Pittsburgh on Nov. 16 has been changed from 8 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. and the game against Dallas on March 6 has been changed from 7 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
