The Flyers organization tried. As fans entered Wells Fargo Center for Game Six Sunday, they received shirts featuring PA Announcer Lou Nolan and the words “Stay Classy, Philly!” I know you may be shocked to hear this, but Flyers fans did not stay classy.

A Flyers Fan Held Up A Lewd Sign Behind Braden Holtby
During the game, there was a sign behind Braden Holtby. I’ll let the Internet explain.

Flyers Fans Allegedly Put Beer Bottles Under Cars With DC Plates
It’s impossible to verify a story like this, but some Flyers fans decided to leave a gift underneath Caps fans’ cars that had DC plates.

Thanks for coming to Philly! Enjoy your flat tire.
This series was ridiculous from start to finish. From Brayden Schenn finishing checks by jumping 10 feet in the air to Flyers fans throwing objects at a player who may have been seriously injured, we can learn a lot from the last week and a half. No matter how much we want the Caps to win, showing the other team and their fans respect is what good fans do.
Let’s continue to be that.
