Filip Forsberg Just Got in His First Fight

Swedish forward, former Capitals draft pick, and gentle human Filip Forsberg got in his first NHL fight on Saturday night. It was to defend the honor of former Capital Mike Ribeiro, who probably doesn’t deserve to have his honor defended.

As Ribeiro dumps the puck into the zone, fellow finesse scorer Jake Virtanen shoves Ribeiro head-first into the boards.

Forsberg becomes enraged like IKEA just ran out of BILLY bookcases. He starts pawing at Virtanen.

No one really lands a punch (except to the helmet), but there is so much anger.

Normally, I’d reserve this Vine for when Forsberg does something good (and I get sad he’s not a Capital), like score two natural hat tricks in three games. But tonight, it has another great use.

NOOOOOOO! NOT THE FACE.
