The Capitals played the Dallas Stars on Saturday. Despite an awful start, Washington nearly dug themselves out of a four-goal hole. Thanks to the Capitals’ third period rally, the game at American Airlines Center was a fun one.
I flew out to Dallas for the weekend to watch it and I have to thank the Stars fans for their great hospitality. I met so many wonderful people, including a bunch of invading Caps fans.
I’ve been to six NHL arenas and the AAC is definitely one of the most beautiful. The outside high-class hotel appearance continues into the concourse, making you wonder if you’re really at a hockey game. The rink doesn’t fall short either. It is the most well-lit rink I think I’ve ever been to. It’s a photographer’s dream!
I’ve brought back some shots of our boys in the road whites, hope you enjoy:
Stars fans of the game.
