Help Us ID This Mystery Fan in a Nate Schmidt Face Shirt (Updated)

nate-schmidt-puck

Admit it, when you saw the above picture, which the Capitals posted on their social media platforms to advertise the game-night hashtag for the January 5 matchup against the Bruins, you thought, gee, that would make a killer shirt.

Well, guess what. You were 100% right.

An enterprising fan seems to have conjured some sort of magic (Schmagic?) to transfer this classic SchmidtFace onto a shirt, which he sported during warmups of tonight’s game against the Flyers.

I know what you’re thinking, and don’t worry: the same image is on the front of the shirt as well.

What more is there to say except that I want one, and access to the whatever devil magic he used to make it?

Update:

The Horn Guy reports that our mystery man is his friend Charlie, and confirms it’s as glorious in person as it looks in photos.

Reader Kelley D. spoke to Charlie and found out he made it on an app called Yo Shirt. “As long as the image is high res, it will work,” she reported.

Have at it.
