Evgeny Kuznetsov‘s celebrations in the NHL have been mostly muted since leaving the KHL. But Wednesday, after assisting on Andre Burakovsky’s game-tying goal, Kuzy did what all the hip kids are doing. He dabbed.
First his assist.
Now the dab.
Now we don’t technically know what dabbing is, but all our commenters are very sure that Kuzya did it. Our current theory is that dabbing is when you sneeze into in your elbow to prevent the spreading of germs.
Jets defenseman Dustin Byfuglien dabbed last night.
Chiefs head coach Andy Reid even did so after a win.
So that just happened.
