Alright, Caps fans. The team got off to a solid start in the opener against New Jersey on Saturday and it’s now time to hockey again.
Isn’t it good to have meaningful hockey games back on a regular basis? Well, meaningful insofar as anything is meaningful. Jean Paul Sartre would tell us that life, including hockey and our fandom of the Caps, has no meaning a priori. The only meaning these hockey games have is the meaning we attach to it. Soren Kierkergaard would tell us that these hockey games stand no chance of having any meaning without a belief in God. Do you find hockey to be life affirming? Well, then Friedrich Nietzsche probably finds us attaching meaning to hockey a-okay.
So, the Caps play in a hockey game tonight that may or may not be meaningful, and said meaning may or may not be inherent. CSN has your TV coverage for the 7pm faceoff.
| Team | Record | Possession | PDO | Power Play | Penalty Kill |

Debate
The first Democratic presidential debate is tonight and will feature 5 candidates. I’ll probably flip back and forth once the debate starts at 8:30 PM. Politics not your thing? That’s cool. I’ll be watching fully knowing that my decision of what to watch could be completely meaningless other than the meaning I assign to it.
