Alex Ovechkin just scored again– this time off a beautiful face-off win by Nicklas Backstrom.

The Russian machine now has 47 goals. This is his 13th multiple-goal game of the season. He scored the first goal and the game-winner, he led both teams in shots, and he earned CSN’s Palm Player of the Game.

It was basically Ovi’s closing argument in his case for the Hart Trophy.
