Your Summer Vacation Will Never Be As Luxurious As Evgeny Kuznetsov’s

Over the past week, Washington Capitals rookie forward Evgeny Kuznetsov has been jet-setting across the world on vacation with his wife Nastya.

Kuzya could certainly use the rest and relaxation. Last season, the winger played hockey in two different leagues and did not make the playoffs in either. He also participated in the World Championship and suffered two somewhat major injuries.

The 22-year-old has addressed his pressing mental and physical concerns by taking a vacation that is positively siiiiickkkk.

Let’s vicariously enjoy it (like we did with his car), shall we?

Destination #1: Dubai

Kuznetsov’s first stop was Dubai, the most populous city in the United Arab Emirates. The city, known for its stunning architecture, luxurious accommodations, and human rights violations, is expensive and also did I mention expensive?

Kuzya and his wife wanted a prime beachfront location, so they stayed at the Jumeirah Beach Hotel, which is a hotel located literally on the beach and whose property juts out into the sea.

Opened in 1997, the hotel contains 617 luxuriously furnished rooms and suites, which feature spectacular views of the Arabian Gulf. In 2013, it was voted the Top Hotel by HolidayCheck. And for those of you who don’t like the beach and all that pesky, salt water – the hotel offers its guests access to five swimming pools and a water park, Wild Wadi.

Destination #2: Maldive Islands

Next, Kuznetsov and his wife flew to the Maldive Islands, which is an island nation in the Arabian Sea. The attractive couple stayed for a week at the Four Seasons Resort at Landaa Giraavaru.

The resort, which has only 102 rooms, describes itself as a “paradise hideaway where luxurious seclusion meets wild natural beauty.” This sounds expensive too.

The Four Seasons Resort website continues:

This verdant, beach-fringed coral island offers sophisticated pleasures on land and water – from genuine ayurvedic therapies in the spa to splashing, sailing or diving in the jewel-like Indian Ocean and the Maldives’ most pristine lagoon. Located within the Baa Atoll UNESCO World Biosphere Reserve, Four Seasons Resort Landaa Giraavaru is a remote natural wilderness that invites a sense of discovery.

The first three people who left reviews on TripAdvisor said of the resort, “Heaven on Earth!,” “Wow!,” and “We didn’t want to leave!” So yeah, it sounds pretty fancy. Take a look at these pics.
