Alex Ovechkin, along with several teammates, did not participate in the Washington Capitals’ optional skate in #CLUMBUS on Wednesday. Now we may know why.
Inside the locker room, Ovi — wearing full goalie gear — was busy playing a game of ball hockey with his teammates, defending the invisible net behind him. It’s priorities, people.
After scoring four points and force-of-willing the Caps to another victory, Ovi can do whatever he wants today.
The last time Ovi dressed as a goaltender was when he defended the Caps net during practice with Make-a-Wish kid Sam Jacobson. Awesome.
