Vladislav Kamenev posts photo from hospital after Brooks Orpik hit leaves him with broken arm
On November 16, Vladislav Kamenev made his debut for the Colorado Avalanche after being traded as part of the Matt Duchene deal. Kamenev would only last 27 minutes in his first game.
In the second period, 37-year-old veteran Brooks Orpik stepped up in the neutral zone and landed a big hit on the rookie forward. The hit broken the prospect’s arm.
Two days later, Kamenev posted a photo from the hospital. With scratches on his face and giving a thumbs up, the Avalanche forward showed off his broken forearm either before or after undergoing surgery.
