TJ Oshie on his bobblehead celebration: ‘It’s kind of embarrassing that you guys saw that’

Capitals forward TJ Oshie has been on a tear lately, and he had some fun after scoring his fourth goal in as many games.

As Oshie skated to the Capitals bench, he wobbled his head back and forth like a bobblehead. This was notable because Tuesday night also marked Oshie’s first bobblehead giveaway as a Capital.

“It’s kind of embarrassing that you guys saw that,” a mortified Oshie said to the press after the game.

Evgeny Kuznetsov leaves Capital One Arena with four TJ Oshie bobbleheads

Evgeny Kuznetsov may not have won NBC Sports Washington’s contest for a signed Evgeny Kuznetsov jersey, but he did not leave empty handed after Tuesday’s Caps-Stars game.

Sports Illustrated’s Alex Prewitt saw Kuznetsov sneakily leaving Capital One Arena with a few new friends, and no, I’m not talking about Alex Ovechkin and Alex Radulov.

TJ Oshie shakes head like bobblehead after scoring on TJ Oshie bobblehead night

TJ Oshie is officially on fire after enduring one of the coldest stretches of his career.

Tuesday night against the Dallas Stars, Oshie scored on his own bobblehead night to open the scoring for the Capitals. Oshie now has four goals in his last four games.

According to Leni Oshie, TJ Oshie bobblehead night is actually a giveaway for ‘Papa’ bobbleheads

Hours before the Capitals’ latest giveaway, Lauren Oshie, TJ Oshie’s wife, let her two adorable daughters, Lyla and Leni, play with dad in bobblehead form.

Lyla got aggressive with Ceramic Teej, slamming dad’s bobble-twin hard against the floor. Meanwhile, Leni was very fascinated with the cardboard box it came in.

And then, out of nowhere, something ridiculously cute happened. At the 25-second mark, Leni realizes who that familiar person on the box is.

Your heart will melt upon seeing this.

The Capitals are giving away TJ Oshie Stadium Series bobbleheads on March 20

TJ Oshie may never score again, but he’s still a fan favorite among Capitals fans. And next week, he’s receiving a big honor from the Capitals organization.
