Nicklas Backstrom successfully built bleachers at a charity event: ‘It’s just like putting together IKEA furniture’
Sometimes the Sweedish stereotypes are apt.
Friday, Nicklas Backstrom, Braden Holtby, and Tom Wilson participated in a charity event for So Kids Can along with DC 101’s Elliot Segal. The trio of Washington Capitals players helped build a gymnasium at Hendley Elementary School, which will allow the kids to host sporting events at home now.
Backstrom dedicated himself to building the bleachers along with Holtby.
