TJ Oshie’s priceless face during his overtime goal review
TJ Oshie scored two minutes and 14 seconds into overtime to give the Capitals a thrilling 4-3 comeback victory over the Arizona Coyotes. It was the Osh Babe’s second goal of the night and came minutes after his game-tying goal late in the third period. Except, there was a problem.
On the play, as Lars Eller tried to carry the puck into the offensive zone, the Tiger fell over at the blue line. It may have thrown TJ Oshie offside. Uh oh.
So the NHL’s Situation Room initiated a review of the goal, pouring through all their fancy replay angles to see if Oshie entered the O-zone before the puck completely crossed the blue line.
