When Peter and I first started RMNB in 2009, we just wanted an outlet to be creative and share our love for the Capitals. Since then, we’ve watched (dumbfounded might I add) 13 million unique people visit our site, tallying 70 million pageviews. RMNB has broken the news of the Cheylabinsk meteor, raised money for charity, sponsored a NASCAR, and covered a Stanley Cup championship. Our main three social media accounts (Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram) have accumulated a combined 100k followers. Being a part of such a passionate and creative community has been a dream.
Winning awards is not why we write, but the following contest in our hometown paper is one we care about. And we need your vote to go back-to-back.
