Eleven-year-old Make-A-Wish recipient Dariush Namin meets Capitals team, watches practice from bench
Dariush Namin, an 11-year-old kid from Bethesda, is fighting more courageous and meaningful fight than anything you will ever see in a hockey game.
In 2016 Dariush was diagnosed with leukemia. He’s currently undergoing treatment. That didn’t stop him, however, from making it to Kettler Capitals Iceplex on Wednesday morning. Namin had his Make-A-Wish request to meet the Capitals granted, attending practice with the team.
This is just the start of an epic three days for the young man.
