Alex Ovechkin as a supermarket cashier is the greatest thing you’ll see today
Alex Ovechkin made several surprise stops in DC on Tuesday to promote the upcoming release of his cereal, Ovi O’s. The Russian machine shocked second graders at the Arlington Traditional School as well as children at Georgetown Medical Hospital.
But it was Ovi’s last stop, at a Giant Food store in Washington DC, where his personality really shined as a supermarket employee.
Ovechkin stocked the cereal aisle — aisle number eight (you can’t make this stuff up) — with Ovi O’s. Later, he became a somewhat confused cashier which created many moments that were, well, So Ovi.
