Wednesday, Andre Burakovsky took to Instagram to thank his hometown Mercedes Benz Malmo “for letting me drive this amazing (rental) car while you are taking good care of my own car.”
It seemed like an innocent sponsored post, but Burakovsky’s former best friend, Tom Wilson, suggested there was more to this story in the comments.
“Thanks Audi Malmo for this amazing car,” Burakovsky’s punctuation-less Instagram caption reads. “you guys have been nothing but great @audimalmohbg #fastandfurious #fast9”
The “amazing” new Audi is pretty sweet, but my favorite part is the decal on the left side.

The biggest storyline heading into the NHL’s All-Star Fantasy Draft Friday night was who would go last? Four years ago, Phil Kessel was humiliated as the final pick and it was great theatre. Kessel was awkward, everyone laughed, and then the Russian machine started snapping photos of him with his mobile phone which made it even awkwarder.
Fast forward to tonight and Alex Ovechkin flipped the script. When asked if he’d be mad if he wasn’t selected first, Ovechkin started campaigning. “I wanna be last,” he said. “I need a car.” Except, he wasn’t joking.
