Oh, great, the Blue Jackets brought their awful cannon sound effect with them into the bubble

Without their home arenas and in-arena entertainment staff, NHL clubs have brought their goal-horn sound effects along with them into the bubble. In the case of the Columbus Blue Jackets, that means their offensive-to-all-things-living cannon blasts, which we heard during Sunday night’s game against Toronto.

TJ Oshie on the Columbus Blue Jackets cannon: “It’s the worst thing in hockey”

Yesterday, we wrote about TJ Oshie and how he’s basically perfect. We didn’t know how right we were.

Friday morning, Oshie was interviewed by Aaron Portzline, the Columbus Blue Jackets beat writer for The Columbus Dispatch. Oshie had a strong opinion he wanted to share about the Blue Jackets’ cannon at Nationwide Arena.
