Former Capitals defenseman Brendan Witt received a meaningful honor over the summer. Witt’s hometown of Humboldt, Saskatchewan, immortalized the former first-round pick with a sign at Glenn Hall Park.
The metal sign features the highlights of Witt’s career and is surrounded by Humboldt’s four other NHL players: Hall of Famer Glenn Hall, Ralph Klassen, Brad Lauer, and Jerome Engele.
