The Washington Capitals play their first exhibition at Capital One Arena on Thursday night, taking on the Boston Bruins for a second time this preseason.
Alex Ovechkin is making his preseason debut for the Capitals after missing the previous four games due to a lower-body injury.
Head coach Spencer Carbery will also get another look at several players on the fringe of the club’s roster, with Sonny Milano, Sheldon Rempal, Andrew Cristall, Hendrix Lapierre, Ethen Frank, Ilya Protas, Ivan Miroshnichenko, Eriks Mateiko, and Vincent Iorio all set to dress against the Bruins.
Monumental Sports Network will televise the contest. Puck drop is scheduled for 7 pm.
