Hockey is officially back as the Washington Capitals square off with the Boston Bruins to open their preseason on Sunday evening.
The Capitals have traveled up to Boston to play the first of six preseason games against four different teams. The team’s roster for the opening matchup will consist of a mix of core veterans, recent draft picks, AHL veterans, and players looking to make a full-time leap to the NHL this fall.
Monumental Sports Network will televise the contest. Puck drop at TD Garden is set for 5 pm.
