McMichael, in town to support many of his former teammates, was a pivotal member of the Hershey Bears’ Calder Cup championship team in 2023. McMichael centered the team’s second line and played in all situations, including the power play (quarterback) and penalty kill. McMichael notched 10 points (6g, 4a) in 20 Calder Cup playoff games last season including a huge goal in Game 7 of the Calder Cup Finals. He graduated to the NHL and spent the entire 2023-24 season with the Washington Capitals, posting 33 points (18g, 15a) in 80 games.
Strome, in his second year with the Capitals, led the team in points (67) and scored a career high 27 goals with the team. His brother, Matt, plays for the Bears and is a fourth-line player.
Saturday, the Bears set an attendance record of 10,520 for the most fans at a first or second-round playoff game in team history.

The Capitals were swept out of the playoffs by the New York Rangers on Sunday and locker room clean-out day was Tuesday at MedStar Capitals Iceplex.
Update (9:47 pm): Beck Malenstyn was also in attendance.
Just ran into Beck Malenstyn downstairs as I was walking to the media room.
