In the third period of the Leafs-Senators game tonight, 22-year-old Auston Matthews went viral for an all-time diss where he didn’t utter a single word.
After Senators’ forward Scott Sabourin, 27, said something, which I’m going to assume was not nice, Matthews looked at the back of Sabourin’s jersey to see what his name was.

That is so cold I need to put on 5 coats for every year of the age difference between the two.
Predictably, Hockey Twitter could not get enough of it.

There are few chirps which require no words, this is one of the best.

Sure, Auston’s on the cover of NHL20 and Sabourin’s spent his entire career in the AHL. But with a stache that egregious, I’m not sure Auston is allowed to disrespect a minor leaguer this bad.
