For those of you worried that Tom Wilson’s terrorizing of former roommate, Andre Burakovsky, would end now that Burky is a member of the Colorado Avalanche, you can rest easy.
It will continue, it appears, for the rest of time.
Saturday, Burakovsky posted a photo of himself from his native Sweden. “Really enjoying the summer!!” Burakovsky wrote, which doesn’t really square up with his semi-smiling, semi-grimacing face.
Tom Wilson replied within an hour.
“Your captions are definitely going to struggle without me there to help you,” Wilson said. “You can always text ❤”

Burakovsky is spending time with his father, former NHL player Robert Burakovsky, and his sister Alexandra and future brother-in-law Seb.

Despite all the insults and razzes, Wilson and Burakovsky have been friends since 2013 Development Camp. They were linemates, they were roommates, and they frequently hung out together.
“The memories with that guy will be forever,” Wilson said shortly after Burakovsky’s trade. “I was saying to my girlfriend, ‘Who am I going to go to dinner with on the road?’
“There are definitely guys who are teammates and you’re friends with, but you move on, you lose touch,” Wilson added. “But Burky was a best buddy. So it sucks when that happens.”
