Carl Hagelin’s adorable daughter celebrates first birthday

Capitals forward Carl Hagelin celebrated his daughter’s one-year birthday on Monday.

The Swedish winger posted a photo of his wife holding their daughter Blanche. The adorable baby smiled and clapped as a silver number one balloon flew high into the sky.

Hagelin also posted in the gallery a photo of Blanche wearing a Capitals baby-sized jean jacket that had number 62 and Daddy on the back.

Among the well-wishers on Blanche’s big day were Capitals teammate Andre Burakovsky, Ilya Kovalchuk, and Olympic gold medalist Amanda Kessel, whose brother Phil played with Hagelin on the Pittsburgh Penguins.

After being Google Translated, Burakovsky’s comment reads, “Ohhhh the little fox becomes a big girl today!”
