While playing in Chicago, Carey Price really wanted to give a young fan a gift for his support.
At the end of the second period, Price attempted to toss the kid a game-used puck, but was foiled by the netting behind the goal. Price then enlisted the help of an official, but that didn’t work out either.

According to the TV crew, the kid never received the puck. That’s not cool, but Price knew how to make it right.
At the end of the game, Price talked to the United Center staff and had a special gift delivered.
“I just talked to their people and they gave him the stick,” Price said. “I appreciate the kid coming to Chicago to cheer us on.”
Price later found out the kid’s name was Harry and he had no-glare on because he came directly from his own outdoor game, where he played goalie. According to Harry, he is Price’s number one Chicago fan. Ever humble, Price, responded with a quaint “oh, cool!”
The kid left the game happily carrying a stick from the former Hart and Vezina Trophy winner and Price now, if he didn’t already, has a fan for life.
