Caps defenseman Mike Green is fine after a scary hit by Ottawa’s Chris Phillips in the first period.
Green was skating from the circles when Phillips stuck his knee out. Their knees collided, sending Green flipping.
No whistle on the play, which is so typical for the Capitals.
Green limped to the bench and locker room, but returned to play soon after– to the palpable relief of literally dozens of CSN+ viewers.
