Tom Wilson invites baby that dressed like him for Halloween to Kettler, signs penalty box costume

On Monday, Caps fans Nick and Jenn Passero published photos of their baby Troy Nicklas celebrating his first Halloween. Their adorable child, named after former Capital Troy Brouwer and Super Swede Nicklas Backstrom, wore a homemade Halloween costume of Tom Wilson sitting in a penalty box. The photos went so viral that even Pavel Datsyuk posted a copy of one of the images on his own Instagram.

The costume also resulted in RMNB’s most liked Instagram post of all time.

On Thursday, Wilson, according to a Caps spokesman, showed his appreciation for the national attention by inviting the family to Kettler Capitals Iceplex. Wilson met with Nick and Jenn and even signed tiny Troy Nicklas’s penalty box costume.
