Capitals to host annual Fan Fest June 27 at Kettler Capitals Iceplex

The Capitals announced that the team will be hosting its annual Fan Fest on Tuesday, June 27, starting at 3:00 pm. The festivities come on the first day of Capitals Development Camp, where prospects from across hockey come to DC to show off their skills in the hopes of making the leap from juniors to the pros with the Caps organization someday. Fan Fest activities include autographs, Q&A sessions, and photos with Caps alumni, coaching staff, and prospects, activities for kids, and the team’s annual equipment sale.

The evening concludes with an Alumni Exhibition at 7:30 pm. Alumni scheduled to participate include Peter Bondra, John Druce, Mike Knuble, Olaf Kolzig, Clint Malarchuck, Rod Langway and Yvon Labre. The entire roster of participating alumni, as well as a complete schedule of Fan Fest activities, will be announced at a later date.
