Michael Del Zotto has save of the game after making tiny Canucks fan cry

The Vancouver Canucks lost to the Boston Bruins Thursday night, but Michael Del Zotto was the biggest winner of the night.

During warmups, Del Zotto met with his loving throng of fans, but one interaction did not go how he planned.

Del Zotto spotted a tiny Canucks fan and playfully sprayed water at the glass. Surprised, the little boy jumped back into his dad’s arms and started crying.

Del Zotto’s heart was clearly broken by this so he came back with a puck.

The boy was brave enough to give Del Zotto a high five through the glass. Excuse me, MDZ, this is just too cute.

This isn’t the first time Del Zotto has had a big heart for Canucks fans. Just recently, he surprised kids from the HEROS program and took them to Sport Chek for a hockey shopping spree. The HEROS program, founded in Vancouver, uses the game of hockey to teach life-skills and empower at-risk youth.
