In March, the Washington Capitals will go outdoors and play the Toronto Maple Leafs for the franchise’s third outdoor game. Beyond Washington releasing a shortened Caps logo in March, neither team has published their jersey designs or revealed any merchandise… until now.
Over the Christmas holiday, Fanatics, the official merchandise partner of the NHL, released several new Stadium Series shirts and hoodies, which unearthed a second Capitals logo for the event: a W logo with three stars. A slightly more narrow W logo was originally used in the team’s 2015 Winter Classic game.

If I were to guess, the team’s Stadium Series jersey will feature the shortened CAPS logo on the crest and the W logo on the shoulder.
The above matchup design is available on a youth t-shirt and a sweatshirt.
There is also a design featuring an anchor, playing off the Naval Academy theme of the event. This design is featured on a youth t-shirt, woman’s sweatshirt and unisex pullover.

Other woman’s t-shirt and youth beanie designs are available, but expect more to be released in the coming weeks.
