The Hershey Bears announced the schedule for their 2026 preseason on Thursday.

Hershey will play just two exhibition games, one on the road against the Lehigh Valley Phantoms on September 26 and one at home against the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins on September 27. The club says ticket information for the home game at Giant Center will be announced at a later date.

Hershey heads into the 2026-27 campaign looking to get back into the playoffs after falling to the Penguins in the Atlantic Division Semifinals this past spring. Derek King will be behind the bench for his second season as head coach of the Bears, joined by recently hired assistant coach Louis Robitaille.

The Bears have already announced their regular-season and promotional schedules for the 2026-27 campaign. They will open the year at home against the Charlotte Checkers on October 3.

The Washington Capitals will also be back at Giant Center for one of their own preseason games, taking on the Philadelphia Flyers on September 21.
