The Hershey Bears are honoring their 20-year long affiliation with the Washington Capitals in more ways than just a new alternate jersey and center ice design at Giant Center.
Thursday, during the Washington Capitals’ preseason game against the Philadelphia Flyers, the Hershey Bears’ team store released new merch for purchase including shirts featuring vintage Bears players.
Connor McMichael, Aliaksei Protas, Ethen Frank, John Carlson, and Dylan McIlrath were all featured on the dark heather shirts. The players’ original bio picture is used along with action shots and their names.
The shirts are available for $29.99 each and were flying off the shelves pregame.
