HERSHEY, PA — The Washington Capitals did something special for their preseason game at Hershey’s Giant Center on Thursday.
Capitals head coach Spencer Carbery dressed both Strome brothers — Dylan Strome and Matt Strome — and both Protas brothers — Aliaksei Protas and Ilya Protas — in the team’s game against the Philadelphia Flyers.
The four players posed for a photo before the game at center ice.

Carbery also honored the Stromes by giving them the start. They skated with two-time Calder Cup champion, Ethen Frank, on the first line.
According to the NHL, this family stat is not tracked during the preseason; however, the last time it occurred during a regular-season game was March 17, 2002 when Jeff & Brad Norton, and Pavel & Valeri Bure took the ice for the Florida Panthers.
