The Washington Capitals are taking on the Philadelphia Flyers in Hershey, Pennsylvania in the club’s second game of the 2025 preseason.
Head coach Spencer Carbery has selected a roster chock full of former Hershey Bears players returning to their once home rink. Both the Protas brothers and Strome brothers will dress for the Capitals.
The game is taking place 20 years to the day when Alex Ovechkin played his only ever game in Hershey against the Pittsburgh Penguins. Ovechkin did not make the trip this year as he continues to recover from a lower-body injury.
Monumental Sports Network will televise the contest. Puck drop at the Giant Center is set for 7 pm.
