Ivan Miroshnichenko is on the board in the 2025 Calder Cup Playoffs.
The highly-touted prospect scored unassisted in Game 3 of the Atlantic Division Semifinals, giving the Hershey Bears a brief 2-1 lead in the second period over the Lehigh Valley Phantoms.
Miroshnichenko lit the lamp after skating the puck out of the defensive zone and firing a shot from the top of the circles off Parker Gahagen’s catching glove and in.
Miro scored despite three different Phantoms players converging on him in the middle of the ice. Close friend and linemate Bogdan Trineyev skated in front of Miro as he entered the zone, allowing the Capitals’ 2022 first-round pick to weave into center ice and have just enough room to get a shot off.
The tally marked Miroshnichenko’s first goal since he scored three times in the final two games of the regular season on April 18 and 19, giving him a team-high 23 goals during the 2024-25 season.
Coming into Sunday’s Game 3, Miro had an assist (on a Trineyev empty-net goal in Game 1) and had four shots on goal.
When Hershey lifted the Calder Cup in 2024, Miroshnichenko notched 12 points (7g, 5a) in 20 postseason games.
