Capitals giving away lawn signs inspired by Alex Ovechkin’s chase of Wayne Gretzky’s goals record

The Washington Capitals announced on Tuesday morning through a press release that they are giving away “WATCHING THE GR8” lawn signs in honor of Alex Ovechkin’s historic chase of the NHL’s all-time career goals record.

Per the Capitals, the signs are available at the Caps’ team stores both at MedStar Capitals IcePlex and Capital One Arena. The giveaway began at 11 am.

The lawn signs are limited to one per person and are only available during normal store hours while supplies last.
