John Carlson will participate in a private autograph signing with local Maryland business Above Average Graphing on Friday, February 28.

According to the AAG Facebook page, fans of the 2018 Stanley Cup champion can send their items in to get signed for $59 each. Inscriptions are $20 and Beckett authentication is $10 per. AAG is run by Monk Wells, a local firefighter who typically hosts charity auctions at various Craig Laughlin events.

Wells has worked with Carlson and many other local athletes for years.

Per the AAG listing:

We are excited to announce we will be working with Capitals John Carlson on Friday February 28th. This is a private signing which means we will be there only.

John has been a huge part of this team for many years. We were one of the last public signings John did many years ago at our toy drive with PFCDJR.

We have had a lot of requests on John. So get them items to us and will get them done.

Carlson was honored by the Capitals on Sunday after becoming the 31st defenseman in NHL history to reach the 700-points plateau on January 6. Carlson owns the Capitals’ franchise records in games played (1,063), goals (155), assists (553), and points (708) among defensemen.
