Alex Ovechkin’s incredible rookie season is being celebrated with a new bobblehead released by FOCO on Wednesday.
Ovechkin scored 52 goals and notched 106 points on his way to being awarded the Calder Trophy as NHL rookie of the year during the 2005-06 season. Ovi beat out fellow young star Sidney Crosby in what turned out to be their first epic head-to-head matchup during their rivalry. During those electric 81 games, Ovechkin scored twice in his NHL debut, tallied The Goal, and notched his first career hat trick.
The bobbleheads are available for preorder now on FOCO’s website and come in an edition size of 225.

The details of the bobblehead include:
- Bobble Ovi is wearing a suit and posing behind a table, showing off his hard-eared hardware
- The bobblehead stands on a wood-textured base
- The 2006 Calder Memorial Trophy displayed on top of table
- The NHL shield displayed on front of table
- The text “ALEXANDER OVECHKIN” and ”2006 CALDER TROPHY WINNER” is featured on the front of the base
