Jaromir Jagr received a parting gift from the Hockey Gods in his final season playing professionally: a hockey smile.

The 52-year-old future Hockey Hall of Famer lost four chiclets in the Kladno Knights’ 4-2 comeback win over the Mountfield HK on December 30.

Jagr, who also serves as the team’s president and owner, was high-sticked in the mouth while forechecking near the end boards 3:02 into the first period.

He remained in the game, logging 14:54 of ice time total, and even registered his third assist of the season as Kladno scored four unanswered goals in the third period to take the victory.

“God will always find a way to keep me from getting fat,” Jagr joked in his native Czech per a Google translation.

“We go on,” Jagr added. “Calmly even without teeth.”

As Jagr exited the arena, he even took photos and signed autographs for fans.

This season, Jagr has registered 6 points (3g, 3a) in 19 games.
