New Capitals’ Decades Collection features Screaming Eagle hats, shirts, and hoodies

For Cyber Monday, the NHL’s online store is offering up to 50 percent off purchases using the coupon code NHLSAVE — though, some exclusions apply.

But if those discounts aren’t enough to get you to the site, maybe the Washington Capitals’ new Decades Collection will. Recently, a bunch of new retro Capitals gear was released, primarily featuring the Screaming Eagle and Capitol Dome logos.

There are four new hats. In my opinion, the loveliest of the bunch is the one featured in the headline image above, simply featuring the Screaming Eagle logo on black. The hat is showing as the “most popular in men’s hats” and is “almost gone” already. Here’s the listing where you can purchase.

The other three designs include:

• A Screaming Eagle cuffed knit hat that is blue, black, and bronze
• An adjustable rope hat featuring the Screaming Eagle and Washington Capitals type
• A trucker hat design featuring the Capitol Dome logo

There are also two new shirt designs — a 1998 Eastern Conference champions shirt featuring the Screaming Eagle on tan and a blue shirt featuring the Capitol Dome logo on blue. These shirts are amazing if you ask me.

Then there is a blue hoodie featuring the Screaming Eagle logo and a grey sweatshirt with the Screagle design.

And also a heads up – the team’s 50th anniversary Screaming Eagle jerseys remain available.
