Alex Ovechkin missed his fourth straight game due to a fractured fibula, but he still managed to make his presence felt after the Washington’s 5-4 stunning comeback win over the Tampa Bay Lightning. The Capitals overcame a Charlie Lindgren own goal and scored twice in the final 9:30 of the game to take the victory.

The Capitals captain made his way down to the tunnel where he excitedly greeted his teammates and made loud noises.

“Baaaaaabbbbeee,” Ovechkin shouted at John Carlson as he walked towards the locker room.

Ovechkin’s center Dylan Strome also got a big slap on the top of his helmet after netting a goal and assist in the game.

RMNB Instagram follower @grahamlock5 also captured Ovechkin’s reaction to Lindgren, who captured the victory despite the big gaffe.

Smiling huge, Ovechkin extended huge fist bumps to Lindy.

Pumping his fists, Ovechkin then thanked the players’ mentors who joined the the team on the two-game road trip where the team beat both Florida and Tampa Bay.

“I think you’re a lucky charm,” Ovechkin said to the dads.

Or perhaps, maybe he is.
