Twenty years ago, the direction of the Washington Capitals’ franchise was changed forever when the team selected Alex Ovechkin first overall in the 2004 NHL Draft.

Now, FOCO is honoring the historic moment with an Alex Ovechkin Draft Day bobblehead. The bobble is currently available for preorder and is limited to only 224 pieces. You can purchase the bobblehead here.

The 10-inch bobblehead portrays a fully toothed Ovechkin wearing a suit and Capitals draft cap. He also holds up his new black Capitol Dome jersey. The bobblehead notably utilizes the bronze color that was in those retired sweaters.

The release comes the same day as the start of the 2024 NHL Draft. FOCO released 10 other vintage draft day bobbleheads including Sidney Crosby, Mario Lemieux, Ray Bourque, Nathan MacKinnon, Connor Bedard, Connor McDavid, Steve Yzerman, Auston Matthews, Martin Brodeur, and Henrik Lundqvist.
