The Hershey Bears need a win over the Coachella Valley Firebirds on Sunday evening to avoid a 2-0 series hole in the 2024 Calder Cup Finals. Hershey remains at home for Game 2 after falling 4-3 to the Firebirds at Giant Center in Game 1.

The Bears made it a close one late with Hendrix Lapierre scoring a pulled goalie, power-play goal but Coachella Valley survived the remaining 1:56 in regulation.

Hershey will again be without Vincent Iorio, Lucas Johansen, and Aaron Ness on the backend. Garrett Roe has been added to the injury list after leaving Game 1 early.
