Ethen Frank is the Hershey Bears’ top regular season and playoff goal scorer, but the Bears will need to win Game 7 of the Eastern Conference Finals against the Cleveland Monsters without him.

After leaving Game 6 early due to a lower-body injury, Frank missed Wednesday’s morning skate and will not dress in the series-deciding game. Frank has scored 9 playoff goals and ranks second on the team in points (12) in 12 games.

Ivan Miroshnichenko is set to take Frank’s spot on the team’s top line with Hendrix Lapierre and Joe Snively. Miroshnichenko, who ranks second on the team in playoff goals (6) and fifth in overall points (10), previously skated with the two in Game 6 after Frank went to the locker room in the second period.

Frank has missed just one previous game this postseason, a Game 3 win over the Hartford Wolf Pack in the Atlantic Division Finals. With Frank out, Hershey will get Pierrick Dubé back in the lineup. Dubé scored 28 goals for the Bears during the regular season, one behind Frank (29) for the team lead.

Puck drop for Game 7 is scheduled for 7 pm inside Giant Center.
