AHL releases schedule for 2024 Calder Cup Finals

The AHL released two different schedules for the 2024 Calder Cup Finals on Tuesday as the team competing from the East is still yet to be determined.

The Hershey Bears and Cleveland Monsters will complete the Eastern Conference Finals with a winner-takes-all Game 7 on Wednesday night. Whoever emerges victorious will play the Coachella Valley Firebirds in the championship series.

The Calder Cup Finals will begin on Friday, June 14 — regardless of what happens Wednesday night. If the Bears win Game 7, the series will start at Giant Center in Hershey. If the Monsters win, the Firebirds will host the Monsters at Acrisure Arena in Southern California.

The Firebirds are already in Hershey. They traveled to Central Pennsylvania on Sunday and practiced at Hersheypark Arena on Monday after becoming Western Conference champions. The team’s coaching staff scouted both Eastern Conference teams at Game 6.
