Open Thread: Hershey Bears at Cleveland Monsters – Round 4, Game 5

The Hershey Bears have another chance to clinch consecutive appearances in the Calder Cup Final with a win in Game 5 of the Eastern Conference Finals on Saturday night. The Bears dropped just their second game of the postseason in their Game 4 loss to the Cleveland Monsters on Thursday.

Hershey got goals from Ethen Frank and Garrett Roe but fell 3-2 inside Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse. They hold a 3-1 series lead heading into Game 5.

Henrik Rybinski returns to the lineup after sitting out last game due to injury. Aaron Ness and Pierrick Dubé remain out of action.

Defensemen Lucas Johansen and Jon McDonald are also scratched due to their respective injuries. Vincent Iorio has moved to the left side of the top defense pairing and Hardy Häman Aktell has moved down to the second pairing.

Ethen Frank is good to go after he missed a portion of Game 4’s third period. His goal streak sits at seven games.
