The Washington Capitals are hosting their first playoff games at Capital One Arena since the spring of 2022.
To celebrate the occasion, the team announced a handful of giveaways they’ll be doing in conjunction with their first-round matchup against the New York Rangers.

The first giveaway kicks off on Friday, two days before the Capitals are set to open their series at Madison Square Garden in New York. The team says you can pick up a free “Capitals playoff lawn sign” at their team stores, limited to one per person.
When the team returns home for Game Three and Game Four (dates still to be determined) all fans in attendance at the first home matchup will receive LED light sticks as well as a rally towel. All fans in attendance at the second home game will receive a rally towel.
The team store inside MedStar Capitals Iceplex is also now stocked with playoff-branded merchandise.
