The Washington Capitals were eliminated from the playoffs by the New York Islanders last Thursday. Five days later, Tom Wilson is already back in the gym preparing for next season.
Tuesday morning, Wilson spent his morning throwing hands with boxing trainer for the stars, Jorge Blanco. Blanco is a former Spanish national kickboxing champion and a former member of the Spanish national and Olympic boxing teams.

Blanco also posted a video himself where he highlighted how loud Wilson’s punches popped into his gloves.
Wilson has trained with Blanco before and even produced a testimonial on his website.
Working with Jorge last summer was a really worthwhile experience. Every time I stepped foot in his gym, Jorge always put me through hard workouts. More importantly he showed me how to be efficient in my work. Learning to control my breathing and introducing me to the component of relaxation during highly intense workouts was something I hadn’t touched on anywhere else and I found it really improved my overall performance.
Wilson also celebrated his Stanley Cup day in Toronto with his trainer.
